I have noticed a ?bug? with this cell type - it can be duplicated in the ProfUIS_Controls sample:
1. Double click on one of the slider cells to activate the inplace control (the slider).
2. Without deactivating the inplace control - move the mouse around the surrounding cells - so as to get the row to hover & unhover - when the CExtgridcellslider cell repaints - it "flickers" between the numeric value of the cell and the inplace control.
I am using profuis 2.54 (full) - but the ?bug? is evident in the ProfUIS_Controls sample w/ 2.62 also.

Please specify the WS_CLIPCHILDREN window style for the grid by setting 0x52010000 in the Style field of the custom control properties window.
Please note you can also use the windowless CExtGridCellInplaceSlider cell.
