After the call to CAutoCustomizeSite::CategoryAppendNewMenu(), there is no call to CategoryUpdate(). Any ideas where the error comes from?

Your screenshot demonstrates a resource identifier conflict. Please check whether the resource identifiers defined in the resource.h file of your project are different from with Prof-UIS resource identifiers defined in the ../Prof-UIS/Include/Resources/resource.h file (29000...31000).
