I was trying to add a CExtControlBar in my application. But it was giving assiertion faiure error. Now I tried with a MDI sample application and tried to add a emply CExtControlBar.. the same problem occured.. I am following the help topic "Resizable control bars" given in the.chm file. Can you please tell me if I am missing something. I will send you my sample project through mail. Thank you..

My aim is to create a resizable control bar.. Attach a dialog to it.. and dialog will have a propertyGrid custom control. Thank you..

when I check this the code sent by you in other machine.. there it was working fine.. Please tell me what cud be the possible reason for the failure in my machine.. I am using .Net 2003

The fixed version of the project we sent you should not produce any assertions. Did you try to re-build the project completely? Did you compare the settings of Visual Studio on both machines?

We fixed menu bar’s and resizable control bar’s commands in the menu and added the CDialogInsideBar class and IDD_DIALOG1 dialog template resource. This dialog contains a property grid control. The dialog is created as a child of the control bar. We sent you a fixed and improved version by email.
