Hi,
I’m running ProfUIS 2.83 on VS 2008 and I’m trying to setup new project via ProfuisAppWizard.
I followed all wizard’s steps without any problem.
But when completing the wizard and clicking on the finish button, no action happen after that and no file is generated in the fixed directory at the begining of wizard.
I tried the others standard wizards and they are working normally. I have this kind of problem only with ProfuisAppWizard.

Could you switch the default locale and language of your Windows to English and try to use Prof-UIS Application Wizard using English settings. We suspect the problem depends on the selected locale.

Hi again,
I changed the locale and language settings to English like you told me to do and reboot the WS even reinstall ProfUIS but in vain. The same problem persist. Also, I would like to note that after running the wizard I got the message on the status bar that the new project is created successfully but in fact even the solution folder is not created.

We guess this clarifies the problem. We suspect the folder you have specified for creating a new project has permissions which do not allow Visual Studio to create any files and folders in it.

Please tell us more about the problem. Which version of Visual Studio 2008 you are using and whether any updates were installed over it? Which version of Windows you are using and which locale is default?
