The main problem with drawing/not-drawing lines in the grid control depending on the type of its parent control is the following: it’s hardly possible to implement this for all the possible types of parent controls and for all the implementations of these controls in all the provided by Prof-UIS paint managers. It’s possible to find a really working and simple solution in scope of your project. For instance, you can leave some free space around the grid control.

I do not agree with this approach... this is a GUI library, it should encapsulate all the GUI stuff, and then the users concentrate or applying data to it, not start to draw lines around controls. Also, this is not even my major concern, if you will look back at the thread, there is the problems of dialogs inside a tab container which looks very off - what about that problem?
